- The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults, children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages.
  
  Infant/Child CPR is indispensable for parents (especially new parents), day care providers, babysitters and nannies, grade school teachers and staff, and anyone else who is in frequent contact with infants and small children.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Price: $80 | Time: 4.5 hours | Certification: 2 years for medical professionals
- The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.
  
  This course is intended for healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Re-certification

- This course is only for Healthcare Providers who are still certified in BLS or have expired within the past 30 days.
Family and Friends CPR Party (Adult and Child Only)

- The Family and Friends CPR Party teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction) in adult and children. It presents information about the Cardiac Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also teaches CPR and rescue breathing emergency skills for adults and children. This course is intended family members of patients at risk for sudden cardiac death, and other laypersons who want to learn rescue skills for loved ones. This course is conducted in your home and is intended for 4 - 10 participants. This course is for informational purposes only.
Family and Friends CPR Party with Infant CPR

- The Family and Friends CPR Party teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction) in adult, children and infants. It presents information about the Cardiac Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also teaches CPR and rescue breathing emergency skills for adults, children and infants. - This course provides complete first aid and safety skills, equipping individuals to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses. You'll learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, musculoskeletal injuries and other sudden illnesses, as well as how to reduce the risk of disease transmission while providing care. This course can include an optional section on environmental emergencies
Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED Adult and Child

Price: $85 | Time: 6 hours | Certification: 3 Years First Aid ; 2 Years CPR
- This course provides complete first aid and safety skills, equipping individuals to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses. You'll learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, musculoskeletal injuries and other sudden illnesses, as well as how to reduce the risk of disease transmission while providing care.
  
  This course also prepares individuals to provide care for choking emergencies and perform CPR and use an AED device for victims of sudden cardiac arrest (victims age 12 and up). You’ll also learn when and how to use the emergency medical service (EMS) and how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED Adult and Child plus Infant CPR

- This course provides complete first aid and safety skills, equipping individuals to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses. You'll learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, musculoskeletal injuries and other sudden illnesses, as well as how to reduce the risk of disease transmission while providing care.
  
  This course also focuses on the special application of cardiac and breathing emergency skills to infants and children through the age of 12. You’ll learn how to reduce the risk of injury or death by properly identifying breathing and cardiac emergencies and administering the appropriate CPR measures. Infant/Child CPR is indispensable for parents (especially new parents), day care providers, babysitters and nannies, grade school teachers and staff, and anyone else who is in frequent contact with infants and small children.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

Price: $75 | Time: 6.5 hours | Certification: none
- The Heartsaver Pediatric First Course is modular and teaches rescuers skills pediatric first aid including first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies. It also provides asthma care training for child care providers, CPR and relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). It presents information about the Cardiac Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults and children. The course also presents information on signs of choking in infants and children and prevention of the most common fatal injuries in infants and children. The course also teaches CPR and rescue breathing emergency skills for adults, children and infants. This course is appropriate for those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care providers, camp counselors, youth organizations and coaches for children's sports organizations.

Advanced and Professional Classes

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course - PALS

- The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support course is based on science evidence from the 2005 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes. Skills taught include recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest; the systematic approach to pediatric assessment; effective respiratory management; defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion; intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration; and effective resuscitation team dynamics.
  
  For pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
Advanced Cardiovasvular Life Support - ACLS Provider Course

- The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course is totally redesigned for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
  
  ACLS is based on simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader. Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics.
  
  The course is designed for medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
